/DECEMBER, 24th 2016 - KARAKTER MANAGEMENT - THANK YOU FOR A GREAT 2016!
2016 was a great year! We had a great year, with great releases, festivals and tours, award nominations and winning awards, synch-placements, chart entries and most of all: Great music we are working for and people we are are working with. We’ve released 3 albums this year, some of our artists are working on great new albums for next year, our artists played over 300 festivals and shows in Europe, North America, South America, Japan and Australia, we had our first music theatre premiere earlier this year in New York, our Maifeld Derby festival was a great success in it’s 6th year. Our sister „Love Your Artist“ is working with over 80 artists, festivals and local promoters for a fairer and more transparent ticketing and merchandise market. Thanks to everybody within the Karakter family for working with so much passion and heart for our artists and projects, thanks to all of our business partners, we are working hard together for artists and most of all: Thanks to our artists and to those people, where this music makes a difference in their life. Excited and looking forward to everything, 2017 is gonna bring! More to follow in 2017 :-)

Wallis Bird was invited to play her song "Change" on national german tv in the ZDF aspekte show. The tour with dates in Japan, Australia in Europe will start next week in Japan, then Australia and from 19th Jan on Europe.

OCTOBER, 16th 2016 - ANAIS MITCHELL - Hadestown Original Live Cast EP out now through Warner Records
Warner Records have released the ‘Why We Build the Wall” EP. It features four songs recorded during the New York Theatre Workshop presentation of Anais Mitchell's HADESTOWN theatre show. The full Original Live Cast Recording will be released next year.

OCTOBER, 14th 2016 - HUNDREDS - New Album „WILDERNESS“ - out Nov 4th
The new HUNDREDS album „WILDERNESS“ will be out at the 4th November on CD, CD Deluxe (incl. 6 add. tracks/remixes), Double Vinyl and off course digitally. It's a large, extraordinary, and forceful piece of work that intonates a part of human history by delving deep into a world of electronic tones. In doing so, they have broken the structures of conventional pop music and replaced them with escalating arrangements and unconventional beats. Nevertheless, this record finds ample room for meticulous pop, which Hundreds command equally as well.

Wallis Bird played a 12 hours concert on the 9th Jan 2016 in Berlin. 720 minutes on stage. And finished those 12 hours with an encore. We call that: BIRD STYLE! Thanks to everybody, who came along. The place was packed and a long queue outside all the time. Thanks for the patience to everybody who waited for hours outside. This was a truely special night. Thanks to everybody, who helped to make this happen! All the profit of the show goes to a refugee-project.
