WALLIS LIVE IN GERMANY AND HOLLAND
Wallis Bird will be playing a tour of Germany in May, and finishing up with a date in Amsterdam. 8th May at Orange House in Munchen / 9th May at Manufaktur in Schorndorf / 11th May at Karlstorbahnhof in Heidelberg / 12th May at Jazzhaus in Freiburg / 14th May at Gleis 22 in Munster / 15th May at Beatpool in Dresden / 17th May at Umsonst and Draussen Festival in Duisberg / 18th May at the Paradiso in Amsterdam.
GWS plays iTunes Live Berlin
Get Well Soon and the awesome Gonzales play an exclusive show at the iTunes Live Berlin Festival on the 3rd of May in a pretty nice venue calles Radialsystem V.
Successful Ireland Tour
Wallis just completed a very successful tour of Ireland where most of the shows were sold out. Her performance on the Late Late Show (Ireland's highest rated TV show) was brilliant. Thanks to our great business partners Flohic, Amy and the whole Universal Music Ireland team, and Eleanor from POD for all their support.
Billie Holiday feature
Universal Republic US comissioned the producer Marcus Wuest to produce a track together with Wallis Bird for a tribute Album for the legendary Billie Holiday. Thanks to everybody who made this happen

GET WELL SOON MAKES TOP 30 ALBUM CHART
Get Well Soon released his long awaited debut album 'Rest Now, Weary Head, You Will Get Well Soon' via City Slang in Germany. We're delighted to report that the album went straight into the album charts at number 28, and also made it to number 1 on the iTunes alternative chart. Congratulations to Konstantin, and thanks to City Slang for all their great work.
Wallis Bird Ireland Tour 2008
Following a fantastic tour of Ireland last year, Wallis Bird will play another Ireland Tour in April 2008, playing 5 shows in Dublin, Cork, Galway, Wexford and Limerick. We are looking forward to a great time in Ireland.

WALLIS BIRD IRELAND TOUR
The Ireland tour of Wallis Bird in November 2007 was a great success. Playing 5 shows across the country, Wallis played for over 700 people and reached many more through a large number of radio and press interviews. Wallis Bird in TOP 10 of iTunes UK Album Download Charts after just 1 week and TOP 3 in the iTunes UK Pop Album Download-Charts.
Wallis Bird Video ON AIR
The video for Wallis Bird's first single, 'Blossoms in the Street', is being broadcast by a host of TV stations including VH1. It's a one-shot whirlwind-of-a-video which was directed by the upcoming director Mark Wordsworth, and heavily based on Wallis' own script. The single is released on October 15th and the video has been gathering praise from all corners. Thanks to everyone involved.

We're very happy to report that the German digi-release of Get Well Soon's EP 'All that Keeps Us from Giving In' has gone straight in at number 47 on the iTunes alternative chart.
Wallis Releases in Japan
We're delighted that Universal Japan have released Wallis Bird's debut album 'Spoons' both physically and digitally, with plenty of instore promotion at the larger retailers such as Tower Records. Wallis is picking up quite a lot of heat in the Japanese market, with the video for 'Blossoms in the Street' being shown on MTV Asia and the video being shortlisted for a viewers video vote.
Get Well Soon Hits Up the Festivals
Get Well Soon has been playing festivals in Europe over the summer, including Glastonbury, Latitude and headline spots at the ObstWiesen Festival and Orange Blossom Festivals in Germany. Next up is a performance at the prestigious Haldern Pop Festival, one of the most important indie festivals in Germany with 30,000 in attendance. Press reviewers have been getting very excited about the artist, with some describing him as 'the heir to the Arcade Fire's throne'.
Wallis Bird Plays to 30,000
Wallis played in front of 30,000 people at the legendary 'Das Fest' festival in Karlsruhe, Germany at the end of July. Prior to this, she played a very successful tour of Ireland - thanks to all of our Irish partners for great teamwork there.
WALLIS BIRD PROMO TOUR
Wallis Bird just finished her press and promo tour of Germany. Covering 5 cities in 5 nights (Hamburg, Munich, Berlin, Frankfurt and Cologne), Wallis played in venues that were nearly all sold-out, and did live radio sessions and interviews all week. Thanks to our partners Universal Music Germany, DEAG Concerts and everyone who supported the tour.

WALLIS ABBEY ROAD SESSION ON NAPSTER
Wallis Bird's Live-Session, which was recorded in London's famous Abbey Road Studios in February 2007, is available now. The Live-Session was done in cooperation with ASCAP, WorldSpace Radio and Napster.

BRANCHES UNTANGLE TOUR IS OVER! THANKS TO EVERYBODY, SUPPORTING WALLIS
The Branches Untangle Tour 2006 was a complete success! For 13 dates, Wallis hit the stagess in South Germany and played venues like the Alte Feuerwache in Mannheim, THE SWR3 NEW POP in Baden-Baden, the Jubez in Karlsruhe, Abdera in Biberach, Sinkasten in Frankfurt etc. etc. About 2500 Visitors saw Wallis and Band live in action! It was good for fun! Thanks to the Crew, the Team and of course THE AUDIENCE! YOU ROCK!
ISLAND RECORD DEAL FOR WALLIS
We are delighted to announce that Wallis Bird has signed a worldwide record deal with Island Records UK, part of the Universal Records Group.
Karakter Worldwide is very happy to be working with such a strong business partner and we are all excited that Wallis will be joining the same stable of artists as U2, The Feeling, PJ Harvey and Amy Winehouse as well as classic Island artists such as Tom Waits and Nick Drake.
Island Records will be releasing the 'Branches Untangle' EP in the UK soon and the debut album will follow in early 2007.

Marcus Wuest produces Wallis Bird's Debut Album
